I would have felt ridiculous posting this question a few months ago, but now I'm starting to wonder.

IMO we need to give JK a little more time. he's trying to fundamentally change the USMNT program for the better. There were always going to be growing pains.

Both. Pretend it's a video game.

I was open minded at first. But barely scraping by a country of 80,000, who has a legit national team eligible soccer playing population of MAYBE 10,000 is a little too much growing pain for me. Remember when we demolished Barbados 8-0? Yeah, I want that against teams like A&B. Maybe 8 goals isn't realistic given the conditions, but seriously, we should be doing better against a team whose players play well below MLS level.

Who would the American mls all stars play for? If they play for the all stars then it would be mls all stars vs. Americans best players abroad.

He said to pretend it's a video game.

By the way, I'm a level away from unlocking the MLS All-Stars on FIFA. Will run CPU v. CPU simulations and get back to you.

Have we had one single game with Dempsey Donovan and Bradley on the pitch at the same time?

Starting Lineup

Goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen (Sporting Kansas City)

Defenders Steven Beitashour (San Jose), Aurelien Collin (Sporting Kansas City), Jay DeMerit (Vancouver), Heath Pearce (Red Bulls)

Midfielders David Beckham (Los Angeles), Dwayne De Rosario (D.C. United), Landon Donovan (Los Angeles), Graham Zusi (Sporting Kansas City)

Forwards Thierry Henry (Red Bulls), Chris Wondolowski (San Jose)

Replace Donovan with Beckerman or Pontius (one of the MLS subs), and you'd have a hell of game on your hands.

I saw that after I posted but didn't care to edit.

Yeah just go ahead and run about 500 simulations to get a god sample size and report your results back here.

In one game anything could happen, but the USMNT has more talent and better cohesion. I'd expect the USMNT would win more often than not.

Remember when I told you that you know nothing about soccer outside of Arsenal? This proves it.

Go to ussoccer.com and review the WC qual results from 2008. We weren't blowing people out on the road.

We beat the worst team in the third division of American soccer 3-1, and 2-1. We looked bad doing it too. Klinnsmann is terrible. His signature wins are in friendlies where we bunkered in and won 1-0 against the run of play. We could have done that with anyone managing. We did do that with Bradley managing. We beat the future world champs 2-0 in a competitive elimination match for frick's sake.

Exactly. This is what scares me. I'm still willing to give Klinsy some more time, but something has got to change. I want to see us playing like we did in the first half against Jamaica. To me the biggest problem is that no one knows how to make off the ball runs it seems. Everyone is static.

I think its clear that Klinnsman belongs in a director's position as he is not tactically astute enough for the coach's position. He should have surrounded himself with a better staff as he did when he was coach of Germany when he had with Joachim Low.
