we had an AO meeting the other day, the costs of going was discussed. theres some big city wide event going on in Chicago that same time as US game, hotel prices are thru the roof (just based on what they said, hotels were almost tripling their prices). the AO hotel that day is going to be over an hour away from Soldier Field

thye said expect tickets to be over $100 too

I got the Supporters Group email about the venue passes. The ticket prices are looking quite frothy. Like $100 a game per person . I'm going to wait and see what the public sale shows. We know this is a money grab, but this could be the ultimate money grab we've seen on US soil.

I'm going to laugh if this blows up in their faces and attendance is minimal.

The cheapshit nosebleed venue passes for Philly are $315 each total after ticketbastard fees for 3 group play games. Lol. What a robbery. Keep in mind, these passes are priced with bulk discount not to be confused with individual game pricing. These individual tickets are going to be extortionate.

If I go I might get a hostel or do Air BNB.

Got my tickets and hotel booked in Chicago. Leaving Monday and heading back Friday but I might go Saturday and get an Airbnb somewhere since most people here and heading out then.

Damn, was maybe thinking about taking a trip up north for a game. I got the pre-sale password in my email the other day and just hadn't checked it out. Not sure I want to spend like $700 to go to one game.

Prices and hotels are just outrageous. Free market in me says I will take a pass and watch it on the Telly.

I got a hotel for $130 something a night in Lincoln Park. Also, Airbnb isn't too expensive.

what a fricking money grab

sucks its going on the same summer as the Euros

It will be cheaper for me to catch the train to france and see a match than tickets to this shite.

Plus I just wonder how serious Argentina and Brazil will be with their stars. There is really no stake since the winner just gets their on the trophy, nothing more. No Confed Cup spot is at stake. I don't want to shell out big bucks to watch Brazil B play. Maybe I'm just looking too deeply into that line of thought.
