yay more over the hill players looking for one last paycheck
But this was seen coming a mile away and its smart, don't think he should take a DP spot though at 35.

MLS is a retirement community for english players.

Yea having Ferdinand for 3 years is way better for the league than having some 28 year old Panamanian of similar ability. If that even exists, bc Ferdinand is still a decent player in general. Just not good enough for the highest levels of the epl

I'd be ok with Rio coming here. He's a good player, but he doesn't need to be making DP money.

If he can birth a few children while he's here (that's eligible for the USMNT), it'll be wonderful.

He's been dreadful most this year
but he should be fine in the MLS but not sure if he has the legs to play 90 game in game out anymore.

Felipe Baloy is not 28, but he is a boss.
But, I agree. Rio will be fine. There's no shame in becoming a step down for players like Rio Ferdinand and Alessandro Nesta. MLS does enough work away from that model, anyway. Most people who don't follow MLS just don't hear about it.

It brings more positive attention to the league than negative. I mean, I saw people in England wearing LA Galaxy Beckham jerseys. Never thought I'd see Europeans wearing MLS jerseys. Then again, I saw a guy in Marseille wearing a Drew Brees jersey. Now that was a mindfrick.

The MLS comes on BTsport but sometimes only in hour condensed replays.
The picture quality is just dreadful for HD compared to their regular matches

Of course. The internet is not a fair representation of real life.

I'm not surprised. Every Booba video looks like a fricking Foot Locker
