That article is written by an American and only on the main page of the US site of the Guardian. For someone in the UK to see it they would have to go into the MLS section of their site so you really didn't prove anything.

Austin is not a minor league city. That's why the Express are in Round Rock and the Hockey/NBADL teams are in Cedar Park.

Put a SSS across lady bird lake and people will go.

This isn't even in the top 20 or 30 most disgusting things MLS has done American franchises move all the time.

No one believes the shite you say

You might as well stop your anti MLS agenda

Austin has shown nothing that it can support a MLS team long term.

Attendance with the other two texas teams is awful.

Houston's playoff game was maybe half full.

LigaMX runs Texas.

why would I do that?

Doesn't need to. Austin's profile is more than good enough, that's what matters to an owner.

bc you are a hypocrite.

The system you have talked shite on for years on this board is now benefiting your own personal interest. So now you support the system.

based off what? Their profile is hey we will pay for a stadium bc you are a POS owner. Other than that Austin have nothing.

Irrelevant

Nonsense. Two of the biggest cities in America barley support their MLS team and you expect Austin to be way better. Come fall time no one would even bother watching them play with Texas playing and the Cowboys on sunday.

MLS has been very open with the fact that they want to be like other American leagues, not like the rest of the soccer playing world. Y'all are completely fine with this until they move a team? Laughable.

MLS fans have been the great enablers in holding back the game here for years and now that they've made their bed they need to lie in it.

Wrong. I'm not going to be going to any games. I don't even live in Austin anymore.

Austin is not Houston or Dallas bro. You literally have no idea what you're talking about in trying to compare them.

Dallas and Houston both have the demographics. DFW is one of the wealthiest areas in the country.

Austin is a cool city, great college town. Texas awesome campus, good bar scene. None of that means it will support an MLS team.

And where is their stadium?

I will say they need to build a stadium with a canopy bc when I went to a Dynamo game way back when it was hot as balls

No but Austin doesn't have a pro team, wants a pro team, and more than deserves a pro team. There is a huge community of soccer fans there and if you give them a team and an SSS near downtown they will go.

Based on their support of the two previous clubs you are wrong.
