not spending millions of pound like United, Liverpool, and Chelsea did in the 90's hurt their exposure. We're gaining ground worldwide.

Being relegated to the English third tier in the late 90's didn't help

you will never be those teams its just a fact

The City fan base in general is fickle. There is a hardcore loyal base for sure but the rest not so much. People don't hop on the saturday/sunday trains from all over England to head to Manchester to see City like they do for United,Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal etc...

I'm definitely not disagreeing. Had great attendance and great memories like Georgi Kinkladze.
