Woo should be a fun tourney. As long as Chile can avoid Brazil I think they can win this thing.

I think Argentina will have something to say about this. It seems like ADM always picks it up for country and if Kun and Messi can maintain the form they had at the end of their club seasons well like I said I think Argentina will have something to say about it too.

I mean this squad is just silly really:

Goalkeepers: Sergio Romero (Sampdoria), Nahuel Guzman (Tigres), Mariano Andujar (Napoli)
Defenders: Pablo Zabaleta (Manchester City), Facundo Roncaglia (Genoa), Ezequiel Garay (Zenit), Martín Demichelis (Manchester City), Nicolas Otamendi (Valencia), Marcos Rojo (Manchester United), Milton Casco (Newell's)
Midfielders: Javier Mascherano (Barcelona), Lucas Biglia (Lazio), Ever Banega (Sevilla), Roberto Pereyra (Juventus), Fernando Gago (Boca), Angel Di María (Manchester United), Erik Lamela (Tottenham), Javier Pastore (PSG)
Attackers: Lionel Messi (Barcelona), Sergio Aguero (Manchester City), Carlos Tevez (Juventus), Ezequiel Lavezzi (PSG), Gonzalo Higuain (Napoli)

Didn't realize Tevez was back on the national team.

Columbia and Argentina are the most talented teams in the tournament, particularly from an attack standpoint. Falcao usually plays well for the national team. James, Martinez, Bacca, etc. columbia is stacked

Yea I think this tournament is going to be fantastic.

I was also looking forward to seeing Danilo at the RB spot for Brazil but I hear an ankle injury is going to keep him out.

Brazil picked a fricking horrible team. Other than Neymar, their forwards are Robinho and Diego Tardelli.

Yea I don't think Hulk has endeared himself to Dunga too much....and it may not be his fault. Dunga is on record as saying he likes smaller (in stature) forwards.

Not to mention Hulk's last international feature wasn't all that great for him.

As for Fred well he retired internationally (probably his best option at this point) and I'm not real certain what happened with Jo. I thought Jo kind of brought on a spark at the WC but what do I know.

I'm not real familiar with any other options they have at forward.

ETA
I don't think Brazil's team is horrible. They can be dangerous in the midfield....and despite what we saw in the WC against Germany should be able to defend fairly well.

Considering he basically started his career in the 2nd league of Japan, he's done pretty well for himself.

I like Juan, but I think Nicolas Castillo and Angelo Henriquez are ahead of him in the striker call ups for the national team. Angelo is on the Copa squad.

Keep your eyes on Charles Aranguiz. He is the most underrated player on Chile by a country mile. I expect him to join a big club next season.

That would be awesome, but Argentina beat them in a pre-tournament friendly 5-0 with Aguero getting a hat trick.

Boliva isn't doing anything ever outside of La Paz.
