The expectations at Chelsea are never low.

they certainly will be if they serve the ban and line up with Giroud flanked by Pedro and Willian.

Frank's prob the only person who could keep the fan support and survive such a scenario. Sarri certainly wont.

who are booing a guy who finished third and is in his second final of the year

he gets booed because hed rather lose his way than win another. zero tactical flexibility, never throwing on extra attackers when down and needing a goal, the same sub patterns, etc..

Hiring a guy because he's one of you is a terrible reason to hire someone.

no doubt, and someone like Allegri would be a good fit it seems, but everyone know's hed just be keeping Frank's seat warm for a season or two. not sure any top manager would want to come into that situation.

I disagree, it just adds more instability to what will be a tough summer with us potentially being banned from transfers as we still haven't appealed to CAS yet. Sarri did his job this year. Chelsea finished top 4, won a trophy and made the final of another. Sarri never even had a full summer before the season started, and despite shite treatment from fans and media he still led us to those results. I just think hiring Lampard at this point is a bad idea. He is coming to a club with top 4 expectations with a squad that isn't top 4 quality unless we appeal and spend on some money on important positions this summer.

Chelsea will spend the money, I’m not concerned about that. Sarri is stubborn and wouldn’t adapt his style to the talent he had.

Roman trust Frank and and Frank has a direct line to him. I also think there would be an understanding to give Frank time to work with some of the younger players if there is a transfer ban. Jody Morris will be his #2 and he spent a lot of time with these players coaching the Chelsea youth teams

And with Cech about to take a hybrid Director of Football role, thats alot of folks in charge who all know the ins and outs of the club.
