Ah, 2022/23. What a year.

Just 16 short months ago, we were top of the world:

And then this happened:

Followed by this:

Then this:

And here’s where we thank our primary sponsor, alcohol, for getting us through this period of shitbaggery. We laughed, we cried, we yelled, and in the end, told European Football: “no thanks.”

We lost some true Blues in the summer. Alas, time to move on. TYFYS:

And now, we have one saving Grace.

Here’s where I usually list our notable signings, but they havnt earned shite yet, so instead here’s our FA cup three-peat and Super League winning team of woman footballers:

The tour:

That’s it and that’s all. Regroup, rethink, and KTBBFH.

Blue is the colour, football is the game
We're all together and winning is our aim
So cheer us on through the sun and rain
Cos Chelsea, Chelsea is our name.

And now that that’s done, let me start by saying our worst nightmare is about to come true. Harry frick-Face Maquire will be in a Blue shirt by next week. Mark my words.

In this bitch! Thanks again TCO for your fine work.

Hell no we won’t get that spare Maguire.

It pains me to say it but I think it will happen. The Fofana injury is significant.

Great post. Should be an interesting game tonight. Feels like I'm following a new team with the wholesale changes.

When the hell are we getting a shirt sponsor? Looks dumb without it.

Maatsen looks good. Love our speed up top now with Nkunku and Jackson. We look much different - younger, athletic. Kai and Mount look like slugs compared to the new guys. I know it’s just shitty Werxham but it’s been positive tonight.

That kit actually looks clean with no sponsor. If we don’t need the money, I say frick it.

I like the plain shirt, didnt like the gold numbers

team looked pretty good for never really getting out of third gear. Wrexham was scrappy and fought hard for a friendly

The fan response on social media has been in overwhelming support of no kit sponsor. The verdict is in and Chelsea fans like the clean look.

I hope the higher-ups can figure out a way to make up the kit money through other means. Would be amazing if this started a trend throughout the EPL.

Wishful thinking, I know.

Frick that. I’m conditioned to see a sponsor now and anything is better than that ugly arse 3 logo. Right now It looks like we can’t find anyone who wants it and it looks cheap. HOWEVER, I’d rather a blank kit than a freaking betting sponsor.

Latest word I’m seeing is that Chelsea showed interest, but Poch struck it down. There is a God after all.

Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi looks to be the next target.

Mixed results tonight. Nkunku and Jackson are legit and excellent acquisitions. Casadei is young but has something. Mudryk is coming along. We have issues in the back- Marc is not a damn defender. We need help there. Kepa is going to be a liability with a weak defensive line. Gallagher looks good one minute and slow and indecisive the next- he can go to West Ham because his pace can’t keep up with our new strikers.

This team has some punch up top finally. Should be able to score some goals but need help in the midfield and back line.

We need serious midfield help. Once we sell Conor, we are dangerously thin.

Yea I don’t get the selling Gallagher? Kid was one of the few who actually seemed to give a shite at all last season? Someone more technical help me out. Most people on twitter seem to think if you get 45/50 for him to take it laughing and go find two 20/30 mill replacements.

Brighton are being bitches and pumping up the number. I’m hearing they want 100MM. Apparently they don’t like Chelsea taking their talent and making some kind of statement.

Jackson is a great talent. Looks dangerous every time he touches the ball. Active and aggressive- so damn refreshing to watch aggressive moves to the goal. We may surprise some folks this year assuming we get Caicedo and another addition to the defense.
