Yep I have a good feeling about us. Hate that the hiatus happened but we did have some nagging injuries that were helped a lot by the break.

this is crazy. assuming willian and pedro are both goners, we've essentially replaced them with Werner and Ziyech. thats an insane amount of upgrade, and both very reasonable deals.

I’ll just leave this here.
Personally I’d rather deal for Alex Sandro at LB and spend the chillwell dollars on a CB though. Either way this would be one hell of a window.

That 11 would be impressive. Still, Zouma scares me and the back line needs addressing. I doubt Blues get Chilwell, Sancho and Havertz but I’d take one of those three.

dont see either being realistic targets. maybe a CB and GK next year, especially if Kepa and his weak wrists dont turn it around.

The kepa thing is way overblown imo, plus we can’t afford for him to become the next kdb either.

I don't know what the club's thinking is, but I'm totally willing to give Kepa another season. He was good season one. He had a few really bad games, and has been okay otherwise. Also, the defense has been atrocious in front of him and Kante has been dead all year.
The biggest thing this team needs is a legit CB and a healthy Kante.

A healthy Kante in front of the back line makes it a LOT better. Instead he’s asked to score goals, which he’s done well to his credit. But sarri, sarris boy, and sarri ball need to be TYFYS here.

That triple save at the end of the year against Liverpool tells me he may be getting his confidence back. And I agree - the back line had been dreadful and has not been able to hold a lead all year. Zouma sucks, Ruttiger is shaky and we need that addressed ASAP. It looks like they’re giving Frank what he wants and I trust him to fill the gaps.
