We play a J League team Friday. If he isn't ready then, I'd assume it'd be Tuesday against Barcelona.

I feel like I read somewhere that he’d likely be held out of the Barcelona friendly.

Anybody know how to watch the Kawasaki frontale friendly on Friday morning? Is this the kind of thing you’d even be able to find a stream for?
I still don’t think I’m ready to follow Chelsea matches because of pulisic, but here I am.

I don't think Chelsea TV is offering this match for US subscribers. I have not seen any other alternatives as of yet. The Barca match next Tuesday will be on ESPN2.

Would a VPN get around this?

I am not a technical expert but I think VPN could work but only if the provider is based in the UK or Ireland.
I believe ChelseaFC.com will post a video later in the day for free which works nice since the match is at 5AM.
Here are the details from ChelseaFC:
If you choose to watch on The 5th Stand, the pre-season games are available match by match from just £1.99. In the UK and Ireland, all games are available, globally the Reading game is available.
Each game can be purchased from four hours before kick-off.

Chelsea 2 - Barcelona 1
Watching the highlights we created a lot of chances but weren’t clinical. Surprise surprise.
The new white kits are fire

As a Liverpool fan, I hate that I have to cheer for you guys strictly because of Pulisic. I want him to run roughshod through the PL.
Also, you’re correct... the white kits are fiya.

Better players have fared worse...
Not sure why the PL transition is so difficult but it’s always the wild card.

Pulisic looked good today vs Barca. His ballhandling is world-class, as is his quickness with the ball. Great awareness too. I’m really excited about him this year, as well as the rest of the young guys getting work this preseason.

I have been following for about 7 years now but admittedly this is the first year I have really paid attention to pre-season. (Pulisic effect I guess) So do football clubs treat the 2nd to last preseason match similar to NFL teams? i.e. projected starters get a good first half of work and subsequently the final preseason match is a chance for fringe players to either make the final squad or impress other teams for a loan?

2 goals today for Pulisic. Dude is proving he belongs. The defense is worrisome though. 11 days until Man U opener.

His patience is really good along with his first touch. Austria is not the EPL though. If he can keep that same composure and get into dangerous positions he will be just fine.

Claude is officially back. We're really getting the whole gang back together.

What are Ballack and essien doing?

Just wanted to bump this thread to remind everyone of Chelsea awesomeness. Carry on.
