Koulibaly is far too old for that price point. Still hate we missed on vvd though I don’t blame him for his choice.

We don’t need rock star if we can just stop the bleeding. Then maybe find some of those younger big potential guys for frank to work with. I’m really impressed with what he has done with the youth.

Are we still looking at Zaha? He was impressive for Palace.

Billy Gilmour had a knee operation. Frank said he's out 3-4 months. Kante also coming back from that hamstring. Wonder if that forces us to use Jorginho?

RCL has been very underwhelming since he came back. I understand it takes time but damn

Still very jealous about this. I think he’s going to light it up.

Agree that RLC has been underwhelming. It just doesn’t seem to be clicking for him.

Pulisic losing the ball a lot. There is 0 space anywhere. Sheffield playing great defense

tammy still has the touch of Ramires.

Jorgi showing why other options were looked at. too safe, doesnt play progressive balls with much frequency or quality, not a threat to dribble through the defense.

Need Giroud, might be time to take Alonso off the leash too.

We are playing into what Sheffield United do best by passing the ball backwards constantly. It lets their defense set so it isn't surprising there is a lack of space.

Kovacic should have started today over Jorgi tbh. Giroud needs to come on as well.

Hindsight is 20/20 but yeah I imagine it was the whole injury bit that kept him from starting. Absolutely should be subbed on at half though

Yep, that was a masterclass defensively from Sheffield. Damn near every pass, and dribble from pulisic, and Chelsea, was contested. Pulisic really had a rough time with it.

Also, Le Saux was spot on, Mount & Barkley were constantly too far forward bringing their defenders into Pulisic’s space.

Sheffield getting that early goal was a death sentence. Outside of Pulisic, nobody creates much consistently except on the break or with lots of space to operate.
