Posted it in the transfer thread, but I'll put it here too. Good news for the Blues.

Bias aside we really do. I keep waiting for the year Adidas tries to do something crazy and screw it up but they always put out a classy respectable look. We have had some bad away/3rds in the past but the home always looks good.

Adidas treats the Chelsea kit a lot like the Bayern kit by just keeping it clean for the most part. I hated our aways at first but I actually like them now. The "infrared."

So is that curtains for Torres or possibly even Ba or are we not going to buy anyone? Clearly we aren't going to carry those three plus a big new signing.

I don't venture into non-Arsenal season long threads often, but after seeing the story on ESPN about Mou possibly selling Mata my interest was piqued. What possible explanation could he have to see one of the top 5 players in the EPL?

Not a typical Mourinho player. Neither is Oscar or Hazard, and the same argument could be applied to Luiz.

Hazard has the best chance of the four to stay IMO.

I wouldn't imagine that he'd deal Hazard. Hazard is the type of player who he is just resigned to play inverted

Also think that he'll keep Oscar. He's a mobile attacking player who works hard defensively.

It'd probably be best for Mata and Luiz to gtfo.

They are both great players, but obviously, Mata isn't Mourinho's type of player, and I can just imagine the first goal scored against Chelsea when Luiz is halfway up the field.

Yea I agree. Don't really think Oscar would fetch a big fee anyway. No reason to sell him really.

Mata and Luiz on the other hand could both be sold for a nice profit.

About Mourinho selling a lot of players because he "doesn't like them": LINK

Hazard - Hazard is not leaving. There has been no rumor as to him even leaving and even if there was, there is no way in hell that we would sell one of our two best players after they have been here for only a season.

Mata - There have been a few rumors but it would make no sense for Chelsea to sell Mata either. As with Hazard, why would we sell one of our two best players, who loves the club as well. LINK

Oscar - Same with Hazard, there have been absolutely no rumors that I have seen about Oscar being sold, nor is there any reason to sell a bright young player after his first season.

Luiz - In 2010 (!), Mou wanted Luiz at RM and said this about him, "I like him a lot, but he won't come to Madrid this year. It will be very difficult for him to leave. I'm not thinking about him at all this year. There was some contact, but the price is prohibitive." LINK and He's looking forward to working with the young players, including 'Hazard, Luiz, Oscar, all these player you mention'

So in the end, it is probably not "best for Mata and Luiz to gtfo" because they have no reason to. So shut up, all of you!

Of course they could be sold for a nice profit, they are world-class players.

ETA: btw everyone who may not have seen the game and was interested, Oscar played great today in the Brazil vs France friendly, I think he may be Brazil's best player honestly. He is so much better when he plays centrally rather than on the wing, which is where he played once FSW came.

Lot of wishful thinking going on in here.

I answered a very basic question on why Chelsea could *possibly* be listening to offers for Mata. There is no wishful thinking. I watch the majority of Chelsea's matches and absolutely love watching Mata play in the Prem.
