Well that was certainly a shite show

Agreed but we shouldn't get hung up on NIT tourney results. We play like that against Man U and then we should start panicking.

Truth. I'd like to have some of our depth players contribute a little better though. Especially when they're playing with 7-8 regulars. Hopefully we'll play well sunday

Yeah. It was a pretty strong lineup other than yossi. That is what sort of shocked me.

Today's second half was one of the best halves that I have seen Chelsea play this season. It was exciting and actually enjoyable.

First time I've been into a game and enjoyed watching Chelsea play in a couple of months at least. Just hate we didn't finish it/them off like we could/should have. Hope it doesn't come back to bite us.

Hazard looked like his unstoppable self from the first couple months of the season.

LsuRed and I were at Finns rocking the Ramires and Hazard kits respectively. Coincidence they both score?

Keep doing it. Hazard's goal was great, and I couldn't believe that Ramires scored that with his left foot. I was thinking "shite. he's never going to thread that with his left foot." So thanks, beezy and red

I agree with all the above. Our midfield is nasty when its clicking. I watched with a City fan who exclaimed "frick your midfield is amazing" when Hazard scored. I love Juan Mata, fwiw. :homo:

I was reasonably impressed by Mikel today. He wasn't too shabby.

There were a bunch of LFC fans at Finns and when Ramires equalized on United the place went nuts

No doubt, which begs the question, why do we play so many games where it doesn't.

He did well breaking up play but had a couple of terrible give aways when we were in good positions around their box.

This was going through my head thinking about Man U fans today:

I thought Ramires was bossing at CDM in the first half but he's obviously more of a weapon going forward. He's so fast. On the counter I look for Ramires right away. In fact a few minutes before his equalizer, Hazard missed him running down the right side. Hazard was the man, which makes me wonder why he wasn't starting to begin with? It just doesn't make sense.

This is definitely frustrating.. Wish I knew the answer...

Yea, I mean of course it's obviously impossible to know what would have happened but it was pissing me off they were acting like bringing him on was some master stroke from Benitez and the Chelsea fans were morons for questioning him.

To me, if anything, it proved how ridiculous it was to have him on the bench to start the game. Also, if Terry and Ivan are in instead of Luiz the odds that goal from Rooney gets through the box untouched is about .01% chance. Also, it's highly doubtful either of them would have forced Cech to make his best save of the match unlike Luiz.

I would argue that United scoring 2 quick goals may have saved the Blues. Rafa was forced to bring on Hazard when he did. If the score was closer he probably would have brought him on in like the 80' as a part of his "squad management"

Well clearly he needs to rest up for our HUGE Europa League showdown this week.
