I think Moyes will be given his time because United has a history of being generous in giving managers time to succeed. However, I also think a year is long enough to get a good feel for a manager's potential. Surely, if United finish the season with the worst-case scenario (crash out of CL to Olympiakos and finish outside the top four in PL), which at this point seems more likely than unlikely, the owners will have to give some serious consideration as to whether Moyes is the man for the future.

Well they sold their best player for 11m euros last month so it doesn't say much for the rest of the team.

There are three "big name" clubs in the league, but only Olympiakos has really weathered the economic situation decently at all. That said, they needed to sell their best players in January, so...

They also had Saviola out injured. Supposedly they only had 1 fit striker who was normally their 4th choice before selling mitrgojeiofj to Fulham.
One of the worst performances I've ever seen, no effort what so ever, the standard of passing wasn't even Sunday League, Rooney was selling people short with every touch, Ferdinand trying 40 yard cross field balls, nothing. And to further the terrible passing dawdling on the ball like they are playing at home to Fleetwood not away to an undefeated team in their domestic league(i know its greece but still impressive).
Smalling had an absolute nightmare, what the hell was that header from the doggy style position?
Evra started poorly and didnt get much better.
Only bright spark was young who did what hes supposed to do, take on the fullback.

At worst the premierleague is the 2nd best league along with Bundesliga, but that is so one sided gang rape victims feel sorry for it.

EPL is probably the strongest league if you consider the top 6 sides even if the best EPL side may not currently be one of the 3-4 elite in Europe right now.
However, the commentators we get on US Fox broadcasts say the most arrogantly, overboard stuff in over rating how good the bottom of the EPL table is.
Only those guys seem to be shocked ManU could lose to Olympiakos when the rest of us seem to have watched them lose to a Sunderland squad (et al) that's not nearly as good as Olympiakos.
