I don't know.

At this point, I'd say that the EPL probably boasts a few more of top 100 or so players than any of the other top leagues.

However, that really hasn't been the case during it's rise in Asian and American TV, which -- along with some wealthy foreign owners -- is where the financial power to catch up with those leagues on star power probably derives.

It's more often recently with the media coverage that players become big name players because they go to the EPL.
