Absolutely. But there are those that put the EPL on a pedestal above all else, failing to recognize that the best football in the world does not confine itself to one league.
Barcelona and Real might swap the La Liga title back and forth, but teams like Malaga, Valencia, and Atletico are proving that those two teams aren't the only ones that can do very well in Europe. Same with the Bundesliga.
I love the Premier League, but I can't say that it's by far the best league in the world. I've said it before: La Liga and the EPL are 1A and 1B to me, with the Bundesliga a close second.

1)You said you think Man City is losing on purpose.
2)How many points would Malaga have in City's group?

No, but that doesn't mean that those two teams are the only two teams worth a flip in that league...as seen by the CL results so far. In fact, I mentioned that in my post.

As glassman correctly pointed out, Man City broke a string of eight straight seasons of either Man United or Chelsea winning the Premier League. The same can be said in Spain where Valencia's title in 2003 was the last non-Madrid/Barça club to win. It took a billion pound investment for City to win in the last seconds of a 38 match season, or else it would be a dead heat between the leagues in terms of lack of parity.
Since the formation of the Premier League in 1992, only five different teams have won. In that same period only five different Spanish teams have won the title.

A team not even the CL this year from La Liga (the SIXTH place team, if I may add) curbstomped your precious Blues in the Super Cup.
The argument is not that there are more than two teams that consistently compete for the league title, it's that there are more than two teams that play great football and have proven it in continental play.
(Yes, I'm well aware that Chelsea doesn't care about Super Cups...or preseason friendlies...or MLS All-Star Games.)

No one cares about Europa League. Until somebody else besides Real or Barca does anything noteworthy in the CL (which hasn't happened in 7 years) or even pretends to challenge them in the league then it's not unfair at all to call La Liga a two team league.

The EPL doesn't have the best teams, but it is the most entertaining league from a competitive standpoint.
