I really have no idea if Poch was going to call him up or not, but it's not a USMNT World Cup if someone doesn't get hurt right before or, in the case of 2014, 20 minutes into the tournament.

For what it’s worth I saw that it was a high grade sprain, not a high ankle sprain. Two very different injuries with different timelines.
