They don't really have youth talent and the way that they failed to structure there, their revenue sourcing domestically has made them extremely poor. It's just crazy how they've both destroyed their current product, and since they have to keep the product relevant, they buy old established veterans that destroys the development of their youth, which destroys their future at the same time.
France has completely screwed themselves with their TV deal, but they understand their place and that they are a development and sell league. While the domestic League is cratering, they're still producing elite talent.
It's just insane. And Roberto Baggio had it figured out like a decade ago and they ignored and fired him.
