He’s always had a foot, he can kick a soccer ball so damn hard it’s scary. This weekend’s another bunch of the same though, my son plays teams they should beat.

The 3-1 loss on here was PKs in the finals, so not sure how they got to that score...but you see pattern. His team is ranked 95, so gold level...only they never play other gold teams.

Hopefully they’ll have fun, we have a cool room and it’s at the beach...so it could be worse.

Things I never hear soccer parents say. Good for you, sir. Have fun.

Looks like we are going to escape the bad weather and the games are still on.

Burbank needs to be closed for a year, the fields completely resurfaced with appropriate crowns/drainage, along with field seating, improved concessions and a championship stadium.

You know....basically all the shite BREC told BRSC it would do if they would get their parents to support the tax increase/renewal.

improved concessions

I know that BREC handles putting concessions out to bid, but it seems like they are never open. They should have a large concession stand in the middle with covered seating and a playground. It could print money if it was run properly.

Y’all have a good tournament?

Great one on this end. Lost a game they shouldn’t have, but won the gold bracket in the end. Boy snapped in a great header, roped a 25 yard free kick into the side net, and tied up the finals with laced PK.

4 games seems too much though. Playing center mid at U13 that much is just brutal. Did himself proud though, that’s all you can hope for.

That's great to hear!
We lost, won, lost. We only traveled with 12 because we got hit hard by the flu, and our GK and backup GK both were part of the casualties. We alternated players each half back there so never really had our best field team playing, but they worked hard and mine scored once. Did miss an easy header on a corner this morning tho

Messing up is part of the game, it wouldn’t be as fun without the blunders. My son kicked a free kick into the lake behind the field this weekend. Another one went out for a throw in it was so wide right. The one he made was epic though, no one even flinched before it was in.

Next weekend we don’t travel, which is nice. Playing locally, and only 3 games.
