If he played for Spurs last season, I don't remember him playing any this season unless it was in the Europa League.

He's rode the pine (or the Euro equivalent) at Spurs for a couple of years now.

Brasil are clearly the superior side. Offsides goal called off, lucky arse Gio cross, and frick Mexico in general.

I want Marcelo to frickstomp everyone of those figs.

Send him over to LFC. We'll give him a fair chance. Never understood why he didn't see the field at Spurs. His international performances have always impressed me.

Didn't look like a dive to me.

I didn't think it was a dive. Maybe going down a bit easy to get the call at the most but the Brazillian defender clearly fouled him.

not at all. i mean it was gay because his back was to goal and it wasnt really a great scoring chance, but it was a legit foul inside the box.

The rumors are always that it's attitude problems but I agree that he always looks good for Mexico.

Yeah, that play he made in the Gold Cup final last year was pretty impressive.

Brazil's sloppy today. Mexico organized and opportunistic. Most importantly, Mexico isn't intimidated.

Just saw a replay on the Hulk offside goal ... pretty awful

Awful no-call on the drag down as well.
