I'd leave that one out.
First one for anyone in Scotland since 1968. I'd call that something.

He was at Villa for 4 years and we finished in 6th place 3 of those years. As usual, you have no idea what your talking about.

The only upside is Bradley could play with Jozy. Not worth it. The EPL is better, but it's not worth playing on a bad team. It's only a good move if Bradley is going to be on be bench at Roma.
As much as I'd love to see Mikey in the EPL again, I don't think this is the best move for him.

What's weird about ^^this^^ is that most on this board would agree with your later comment about the EPL & Bundesliga.
So I am confused to where all these so called: "Euro hipster douche soccer figs." If the board is filled with them and most would agree with you, on what you have implemented as the dividing line between EHDSFs & Non-EHDSFs, wouldn't that make you a EHDSF?
Lol. I may have went a little overboard with my comments. Dick move, my bad.
On another note, just watched a tape delay of ESPNFC in which Alexi is advocating Mikey coming back to MLS soon. Retarded, but funny. Alexi is the anti-EHDSF.

Side note: Lamela to Tottenham for 30M pounds all but inevitable.

The Lamela deal is done. Roma's official website has reported it.

When did this creep into yáll´s (everybody on the board) vocabulary?
Does it come from Reddit, from English announcers, or from American announcers (who got it from English announcers, who got it from, I´ll stop there)?
Wow, with the Lamela price tag. Good for him. Good for Roma.

English announcers. It has always struck me as strange when they use "unlucky" in the context you described (hitting posts or losing).

Because sometimes this happens...
And sometimes this happens.

It's English in origin, but it didn't necessarily creep its way in through their announcers.
There are plenty of English ex pats involved in soccer (youth and otherwise) in the US, and their presence has greatly contributed to our patch worked soccer culture.

THIS.
OK, what's the timeline for being a hipster Euro snob fig? I've been watching Serie A since 1984 (when I could find it, went to my first match that summer,) English top flight since 1990-1991, and the Prem. since its inception?
I wear fedoras (old ones--I have two that are at least 60 years old.)

Stupid bump, they should have tied it up 2-2 and played pretty well.

The looked good in the second half. Two goals agains the run of play.
Posted on 9/15/13 at 9:22 am to BleedPurpleGold
They've looked damn good for a last place team.
