Sounds like a disappointing night for your Bobby Wood.

ETA: Kind bar and water.

Seems quite hypocritical for a soccer board diehard.

Eta: Also pics.

I know you have one of my emails bc of the Tiger Honey pics

I saw like two of the goals before I got really drunk. I don't think I liked the way we let them hold the ball and attack but I do like the way we were aggressive when we got into advantageous situations. However, I need to watch again if I were to give any real informed opinions.

You should know the SB is no place for those.

I'd still rather fist fight Jurgen than have him as our coach, if it makes you feel better

I mentioned that before the tournament. I thought that Dempsey on the left and Wood in the center was a much better option for us. I'm just some American a-hole though, I couldn't possibly understand soccer like Jurgen Klinsmann

I don't even think he needs to play out left. Just give him a damn strike partner, which we did for a little bit today

He just absolutely can't be the only guy up there. It won't work. Wood is a good player. Let him do what he does and I guarantee that other players will benefit from it. It's just painfully obvious that it hurts me.

That seems like another obvious move to me as well. Nagbe is a game changer for us but we have a guy in charge who is uncomfortable with what's smart and easy

I think Klinsmann's expecting Clint to drop off and both of our wide players to turn into Cristiano

I felt like the only other person on board with this idea. If Jermaine provides extra defensive cover on that side it can work. Dempsey makes excellent late runs into the box and is better at going at people and cutting in to shoot then he is at holding the ball up. Wood is well adapted to a center striker hold up role that allows him to drift a little wide at times, take on defenders, and help build up play because this is exactly what he did with Berlin. He's definitely better in the middle, and I still think Dempsey has a lot to offer as an inverted winger.

This is a good point. We moved to a 4-4-2 at the end.
