not really "going out on a limb" per se in saying it, but the fact that the Netherlands have gone under the radar because of U.S. concentration and Germany's performance as well as Argetina's offensive fireworks...

but Rafael fricking van der Vaart has been superb this tournament. hup fricking holland hup.

Kuyt fursure.

It's insane how sneijder, rvp, and robben get this superstar press, but imo, RvdV has edged them out slightly in every match. I hope they can make a statement tomorrow.

Dude scored a pk he's definitely legit. I don't care if he was out of breath after running up to the penalty spot either.

Kuyt is going to be more effective off the bench IMO.

dude has a motor and when he is fresh in the 75 and no one else is, he's going to make noise.

Messi has been great but he needs a goal.

Messi has upwards of 20 shots without a goal. He just seems so predictable lately.

As long as your roof isn't on Mexico's half of the field you should be good to go.

If you notice, every team Argentina has faced is crowding three defenders around Messi whenever he has the ball. This has opened up easy scoring opportunities for guys like Tevez, Higuain and some of the lesser players.

Who said that? Ozil or Cacau? If Cacau, that's rich He came to Germany in his late teens to play soccer on a tiny team and progressed over the past decade.

That's fine. It's also a better career move because he will consistently get exposure since the Germans always qualify and seem to have a stable group of guys who get along.

Kuyt is fresh in the 75th even when he starts. There's no more tireless player in the world imo. Doesn't make him good, just an energizer bunny.

But that's who I'd take off as well to bring in Robben.

Ozil goes to the ground way WAY too easily. Until he fixes this, I refuse to recognize how good he is.
