Joshua Pynadath, an under-11 player from De Anza Force SC in California’s Bay Area, signed on with Real Madrid’s Alevín A team for the 2013-14 season. He trained with Madrid’s U11s twice and FC Barcelona before being selected by the former.
“They told me that I was the first American that they have ever accepted into their academy,” Pynadath told the Los Altos Town Crier in his hometown. “I told them that I would set a good example.”

We are going to be stacked in 2022 when the WC is stripped from Qatar and played here. Of course, this guy would still only be 20.

In 10 years Americans are going to have a Spanish-American War II in La Liga.

Don't read the reddit thread. I hate those people.

For real though, he looks so quick and skilled on the ball. We need to come up with a nickname for this kid.
Ronaldath is all I can think of at the moment and I don't really like it.
Also, I think Don Garber is a smart man in saying that by 2020 MLS will be a top league. He knew all along that Beniesta and Joshua, along with the 10-20 other American products that we will surely be sending to academies overseas (not to mention the great products of MLS academies), will all return to MLS as the world's best players from 2020 to 2022 after the World Cup, igniting a mass exodus of European superstars from Europe to MLS, therefore putting MLS on a pedestal as the world's #1 league.

This move was fricking dirty.
ETA: It appears to be his go to move.
Anyone know this kid's ethnicity? What kind of name is Pynadath?

i hope so. i have a $20,000 bet that by 2040 the MLS will be more popular than the NFL.

Ben is more the set up guy in midfield. Joshua runs at defenders and makes them look stupid.
I think his family is Indian.
If I had to guess, dad is Indian and mom is white. Just a guess though.

Kid is an ultimate badass and he's only 11.

Or their parents' native countries. Pynadath for India? Lederman for Israel?
