As an Englishman I completely agree.
Football is built on high expectations being broken down and proven wrong once you play anyone good.

Bradley's also calling out Daryl James and the other tards who tarded up the board right after the Turkey match.

I never said he brought nothing to the team.
My main criticisms of Altidore are (a) he will never be anything better than average (not really his fault), (b) he rarely plays up to his potential (because he's lazy and scared of being fouled), and (c) he has a tendency to drop back way too far into the midfield to get the ball (evidence that he's not really an out and out striker), something he can't do as a lone striker.

What evidence do you have that he's lazy? Here's what Jurgen has to say about Jozy.
So either:
A. You know more about Jozy's training/playing effort than Jurgen. OR
B. You're being a massive count.
I'm going with the latter.

You get more and more anxious about the situation. You work harder and harder, which he did the last three-and-a-half weeks since we got into camp. He really worked his back off. It was amazing.
“Then you just wish that the moment comes, you put it in there, then you go start to be your own self again, which it does. But you have to go through that working process, so that’s what I’ve always told him. You’re not getting for free. You have to go and work for it. He got sharper and sharper, fitter and fitter. We knew that if he gets the chances he will put one in.”

I do agree with you that Jozy does not look sharp as a lone striker.

Are we talking about Clint? Jozy puts in serious work.

Yeah and i trust jurgen. Even though some people are pissed at him, we actually have a coach that knows what it takes.
