Nice goal. Very cool finish. I needed a hug yesterday.

@YoungGunsBlog
@DarrenArsenal1 (tweets a lot)
@johncrossmirror and @mattlawexpress are Arsenal-centric beat writers.
@arsenalist always has highlights.

There are other Arsenal blogs out there one could follow, but I tended to disagree with all of them so that's about all I follow now.

If Arteta isn't fit, we'll lose. If TV5 isn't fit, it'll be a shellacking.

Even if both were available I still expect the worst

No real reason to be optimistic atm. We'll have a better chance though if Miquel isn't chasing down Nani or Valencia.

Here's to hoping our South Korean scores one in an Arsenal-ManU match

If no Henry, he'll get a chance. The Ox, Rosicky/Benayoun, and him would be our 3 available offensive subs. Good thing we have such depth!

It's the Scouse in me talking but I'm more optimistic about this than most. United have had horrid form lately. Even in the win against Bolton they did nothing particularly special.

And yes I know Arsenal hasn't been great in the last few weeks either but generally form improves when teams are playing higher competition.

In any event I think a draw here is distinctly possible, especially considering it's at home. Here's to hoping I go bankrupt buying you guys beers on Sunday.

I hope you're right. Its a shame both of these clubs are suffering from so many injury concerns. Could have put on a real show for FOX.

One thing's for sure: Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad better fricking fear for his life if Aaron Ramsey scores

We're screwed:

quote:

on Thomas Vermaelen (calf) At the moment I don’t think he will make it for Sunday. Let’s hope we have a good surprise. Let’s see how he develops. There may be a test. At the moment we just go day by day but he looks short.

on Mikel Arteta (calf)… He has no chance. The earliest for him is Aston Villa.

on Thierry Henry… He will have a test on Saturday. He has a calf problem.

on Jack Wilshere (ankle)… There is positive news about him because he is back to running after he had a little setback with the inflammation of his bone. He is able to go outside and practice but he is a few weeks away.

on Bacary Sagna (ankle) and Kieran Gibbs (groin)... Both of them are about two to three weeks away.

on Francis Coquelin (hamstring)… He is three, four or five days away from full training. I did not see him on Thursday but he is not far away. He could be available for Aston Villa.

on Lukasz Fabianski... He is fit again.

on Carl Jenkinson (back)… He is like Wilshere. He is back running but it will be a few weeks.

on Andre Santos (ankle)... He is two months away. He is progressing well. We planned 12 weeks and he is on schedule.

What.. you don't think our B squad is enough for the 2-3rd best team in the league?

Oh well.. I'm going into it expecting a loss.. so anything else will just make it fun
