Has anyone noticed the new home kit is being referred to as the 2012/14 kit? Does this mean we're stuck with it for two seasons?

I wouldn't mind. Those kits have really grown on me.

They look a little better each time I see them. And maybe they'll look better in action, with the rest of the kit.

But I just can't get over the collar. Nothing to easet the transition from red to dark blue. I just think they could've done better.

From Young Guns earlier.

quote:

Nothing new on Olivier Giroud and Arsenal. Montpellier's coach René Girard confirmed what we already knew last night: Arsenal are interested in Giroud, and if they agree a fee, a deal is likely. Ground breaking. This news showed how social media and it's rapid thirst for news can be a bad thing. Girard's tame quotes were translated at least four different ways, from 'Arsenal like the player', to 'Arsenal have bid for the player' in a space of 30 minutes. I shared my thoughts and info on Giroud two days ago: Read more › , and nothing has changed. I don't expect he'll move until after Euro 2012, and there has been no proper contact to date. The only interesting thing to come from this news is that Girard confirmed something we had only heard whispers about so far - Montpellier would like Marouane Chamakh on loan as part of the deal. That's helpful to Arsenal, in clearing some of the space needed to bring Giroud in. So, to sum it up, some nice quotes from Girard, but no need to get too excited yet. Arsenal know what a top striker Giroud is, but until the Euros are done, don't expect any real movement.

Best part of the potential deal that will inevitably never happen.

A lot of reputable journalists on twitter have confirmed the earlier report. Looks like it's happening! Though he certainly could be a RvP replacement, I think the signing (and others to come) are signals of or ambition to RvP to try and get him to extend.

He ain't gone yet. Should be sorted out fairly soon since the Dutch are done. I'd imagine we'd sign another player or two with the £30ish mil we'd get for RvP.

Podolski's goal today makes five by four different Arsenal players at the Euros. Only Wolfsburg has more.

Premier League fixtures for next season were released today. I just bought the Arsenal membership, cause I'm going to a game in either March or April... and it gives me priority for ticket availability and access to the Ticket Exchange (along with other Arsenal goodies they'll be mailing to me)

Arsenal - 2012-2013 Fixtures

Pretty excited. Depending on the dates of our trip (my girlfriend's family lives in Belfast, so we're going to visit and I'm making sure we go back to London, where we met, to see some old friends and hit up a game), I'll get to see Everton, Reading, Norwich or Man U.

Obvious game is obvious - but that will be a pretty penny.

Anyways - fixtures are released!!!!

Who are the other Wolfsburg players? I know that long haired Czech CM is one of them.

September looks tough: Liverpool, City, Chelsea, Champions League

Boxing Day vs. West Ham is a nice little regional rivalry/historical fixture

January = September

not the same potency in past years, but that doesn't mean y'all won't play us down to the wire per usual, y'know?

Methinks we got screwed on scheduling. Hope the new additions gel quickly.

Not to mention no Wenger for our first few CL matches. Bould getting thrown into the fire early!

Petr Jiracek and Vaclav Pilar each have two for the Czech Republic and Mario Mandzikic has three for Croatia. Pilar is a summer signing.
