I feel this is his best role. I think we need him up late so he can hold on to the ball really well. Very risk averse. Would be helpful in these margin tight last 20 mins each match

I guarantee you the difference in Brighton's time on goal kicks is probably negligible compared to Arsenal. They just have a whiny bitch manager.

Brighton actually take more time for goal kicks on average. I saw a graph for all spot kicks time elapsed. They are close to lowest in the league for cumulative amounts, but they take more time than Arsenal on goal kicks.
