The worst part of this is that every fricking team will use this game plan against us.
I don't care if it's an under 21 striker. We need someone up top to create space and hold up play or just wait til Martinelli gets back. One is faster than the other

Gabriel has like 4 key goals this season alone lmao
The winner against spurs away and the goal at City. Like 3 more against spurs. The goal in the Europa a few years ago to keep us in it. Retarded comment
Ben White been our best player

Oh shite that would have been a dream if white scored that

This is an all time Arsenal loss.
We had a path to the league even if we got a fricking point here.
I can't wait for Saka and Martinelli to come back

Raya should have been our CDM today

Thank you board for throwing this season away in January

Yeah this sucks.
They need to regroup for next season and seriously invest in the attack.
But this is Arsenal, we probably won’t do enough.
We need a cf, and a more attack minded midfielder.

Just an embarrassing performance at home.
The red card was icing on the cake, but just another horrific offensive performance
The board should be ashamed of themselves for this, even though the players are to blame for this shite performance, we have a fricking CM playing CF!!!!

How is Ø not an attack minded midfielder?
We need a clinical striker, and some help on the wings. We could use an upgrade to Trossard/martinelli

Worst part of all this is that you know if we stayed healthy we would win the league this year. It's been a terrible season.
I also wish Arteta played Nwaneri at 10/right 8 when Odegaard got hurt earlier this year. We would have not lost as many points.
But relying on Gabriel Jesus to stay fit and Havertz running on empty was just one of the worst gambles by this club since 2000.
Makes me wish we got even Evan Ferguson or literally anyone in. shite I thought imagine if we had Zaha for 6 months. Very frustrating and I wonder if Edu would have allowed this.
Kroenke better have assured Arteta that we are spending 200 million this summer

If tweet fails to load, click here. So fricking frustrating.
We generally create enough to win 95% of our matches but just don't have finishing.
Even our corners haven't worked recently

Odegaard is a deep lying playmaker more than anything. He is most effective when he can receive it deep and pass through the lines, He can’t break down these low blocks because he can’t carry the ball through any sort of contact, and He is incredibly 1 footed, meaning teams can pin him in from cutting to the middle. His primary offensive weapon when we are going against a low block is just to flick it into the box or out to an overlapper, and it’s just an inefficient action. We really need a guy that is 2 footed and can take shots and/or pass with both feet from those positions, Ode HAS to get on to his left foot and we miss the little windows that open
Since Saka has been out, it’s incredibly obvious that Saka makes Ode look good, not the other way around.
With the emergence of Ethan (and maybe Dowman soon) they should probably start thinking of an exit strategy with him. Name Saka or Gabriel the captain and start shopping him
He was very key in getting this team out of the doldrums when he came on, through all the way to last year, I think the team has passed him up in usefulness. Like we have to play a certain way for him to be useful, and we need to be able to play in different ways in some games

In this instance, I feel like the xG is a fake stat, we only had 2 shots on target, 20 shots total
But I agree that ball striking on this team is severely lacking

I think xG is a great stat. Even if we only had 2 shots on target, it shows you that we got into positions that have led to goals in the past.
It also shows us that West Ham scored on their only good chance. It fricking sucks because defensively we've seen that story quite a bit this year .

Sorry, just really pissed. I was responding to Gabriel’s open shot that was 30 feet over the net which I have seen him do over and over and over again. (I guess at least we are consistent as it goes with the other 10 shots 30 feet over the goal today)
My sons high school team typically didn't have that many sky balls a game but they had very good strikers.
Sorry, I just don't see what he and Party add to anything but our misery.
It could be worse at least we stay in champions league. Always next year but year after year of winning nothing is not encouraging

This feels like 07/08 season. Can easily win the title and drop or lose games you have no business doing, especially at home.
Odeegard is one of my favorite players, but man. Letting Sterling take that free kick was brutal to watch at the end.

Ode related - why the frick is he not maintaining a run to the goal? For a real attack minded midfielder (KDB, Wirtz, Rogers, Kudus, Jude, Havertz) they would have maintained the run and at least got a shot off there
