They are very clearly reffed differently on a game by game basis.
Konate probably should have been sent off with a 2nd yellow, Jota should have been given a yellow for that ridiculous dive

They play villa, city, then Newcastle.
This might be the best chance of them slipping up.

I’m cautiously optimistic.

I swear these frickers Newcastle never help us out with a result. I promise you they'll lose like 5-1 but then will be prime Barcelona when we play them at home and we scrap a 2-1.
It is fricking ridiculous. They never beat anyone with a pulse when it matters in the league.
That said, if they pull a result out at Liverpool, we ride.

Not sure we’ll ever see Tomi in an Arsenal uniform again - he posted on his instagram that he had a knee surgery a few days ago

Hoping we get feyenoord
They weren’t that impressive. Milan should have been up more before they got the red.
And feyenoords rb got a red card after the match ended so he will miss the next game.

I'm very okay with this. We can't keep waiting for him only for him to come in for 15 minutes post injury and get injured again. Have to sell him this summer. He's great depth when available like 3 times a season but it's time to move on.
I love Tomi but enough is enough with the injuries. Timber essentially does everything Tomi does better besides heading.

Great two days. Juventus and AC Milan knocked out. Liverpool drops points.
We find out our CL opponent early Friday morning.

Damn I missed everything today.
We still need to perform though. We better show up for west ham. Keep chipping away those points.
If we win, that brings it to 5. We also have to beat them imo to win the league. So that brings it to 2.
We need them to drop two points in all other games.
Definitely doable if we just keep winning.

Liverpool at City on Sunday too.
Beat West Ham, Liverpool drop points to City, hopefully all 3 points, keep winning til Saka and Martinelli come back.
If we get through PSV or Feyenoord, Leg 1 of the quarters against Real Madrid or Bayern/Atleti/Leverkusen on April 8th or 9th which means Saka and Martinelli back
Keep pounding boys. Just keep winning

Also Liverpool defense slowly starting to leak goals
Reminds me of us 2 years ago when we were starting to slip

Liverpool were also first in the league last year at this time.

We got PSV, so Real Madrid or Atheltico for quarters
Shitty draw for QF & SF, we play home first in both

yeah we wanted to be on the bottom.
But also lets not forget we curb stomped city too, so everyone acts like real are the best after beating city.
But real a scarier prospect than bayern.
Should be able to tweek this. You are basically saying 1st or 8th doesnt matter and after the playoff your place in the group doesn't matter because someone finishing 24th can have the advantage over the 1st place team.
In our case, doesnt matter who we play, we finished ahead of them in the group. But they get the advantage of the home game second.

How does Dortmund continue to get these lucky fricking draws all the time?
Posted on 2/21/25 at 2:54 pm to Bottom9
PSV isn't going to be easy, but a solid chance to get back in the QF's.
Once you get that far, it is do whatever it takes to win.
Big weekend tomorrow and Sunday!
