Sigh, more dropped points after being ahead.
Story of the season, just haven’t been good enough when we needed it

frustrating watching teams sit back while our players pass the ball from side to side all game long waiting for the defense to tire out

We are the king of ties
How many 1-1 ties do we have this year ? Seems like dozens. This is why we didn’t win the league and clearly the result of the missing striker. And injuries but like the guy said on goal zone, Arsenal left them selves with Merino up front in a title race. You can’t have Merino up front in a title race.

Agree 100%. We could never get the second goal because of injuriies and the missing striker

But you can in a Champions League run in

Good news is, we had 5 starters get some significant rest, and seemingly come out with no new injuries outside of Jorginho
Everyone besides Saliba, Kiwior and Martinelli got some rest whether 70 or 20 min

Another point, another step closer to Champions League qualification through the league. Just keep getting points, we aren't catching Liverpool.

Arsenal have held their opponents to 0.3 xG or below in seven games this season. They've averaged 1.61 xG in those games. They've won three of them and drawn the rest. Sometimes it isn't your year.
Just lack of individual quality in front of goal/final 3rd for most of the season
Need more mavericks

Brentford held to an expected goals (xG) total of just 0.19 – the fourth-lowest by a team that has avoided defeat in a Premier League game this season.
Two of the other three also came against Arsenal – Everton had 0.09 xG and Fulham had 0.16 xG when the sides held the Gunners to draws in December.
Arsenal have now dropped 16 points from winning positions this season – just one fewer than they did in the past two campaigns combined (eight in 2022-23, nine in 2023-24).

Need more guys that can take a game by the scruff of the neck and just will the ball in the net.
We’ve got a group of really sound footballers, with like 2 guys that can win a game solely (and 2 more that are new to the squad Cala & MLS) need 2 or 3 more like that in this window

I’m warming to the idea of giving Partey a 1 year extension if he’d take it.
Finally healthy, and has been great this year

I've been on that train. He could be in the Jorginho role next year. A nice transition piece that could help break down teams in a low block and keep Rice and his new partner fresh

I hoped everyone noticed we actually improved when Jorginho was out and we only had ten

That skelly kid is going to be a good one too

We need 10 points from the final 18 to get into the Champions League next season.

I do find it odd the media and Liverpool were acting like they didn’t win the league already.
That shits been an afterthought since January really.
We started a half arse team with an eye on Madrid.

I'm just not sold on him being our left back. He needs to be playing in more of the 6 IMO.
Like that goal Brentford scored, I don't think he was ever even in the frame for that counter on the left hand side

He’s basically reprising the Zinny role as an inverted midfielder, and he pushes pretty high up like a 8 would in the build up.

Essentially played a 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 against Madrid with party and skelly at the base of midfield.
