The really never threaten to score a goal, they basically got their arse spanked like a bad child. They were terrible, worse game I have seen this year. It was like they were playing two classes up.

That's still not good. We should have sold Bellerin or AMN when we had the chance and gotten a back up for Tierney going into the season.
They just mismanage the roster year after year.

I get dropping Auba, needs a change, but you have Pepe and Martinelli, so why is Willian out there? Watching him and there is just no offensive product.
On another note, Saka has been wasteful with some great looks. The final ball needs work, and that missed shot oh my.

The tactics in the Liverpool match and this one are nonexistent. It is a shame Saka has been so poor in the final 3rd. Getting himself into great spots, and his speed is causing them fits, but his delivery is such shite right now. Arteta typically waits way too long to make attacking subs, lets see if he waits till the 75th like usual.
edit: Waited all the way till the 73rd to make his first sub, and that was after the other club had already made 2 attacking subs clearly showing you they were going for the away goal.
77th for the 2nd and 3rd sub, but the 3rd was taking off Partey for the defensive Elneny.

Should have scored 4 or 5 in this match and then they give up the equalizing away goal in the final minute of extra time. All started from the defense having some silly aversion to clearing the ball, and instead passing it backwards. Match after match they keep playing it around the back and it bites them in the arse.
Cedric and Holding had a few real bad moments, but how wasteful were Saka and Laca? This tie could have been over had they converted their chances.
