I don't want to get too optimistic, hard not to. That's what being a fan is. But I feel like we aren't fricking around and players we are linked with seem promising.

On Locatelli.
Arsenal sources deny making any official bid (there's a feeling Sassuolo are using Arsenal's name to get Juve to offer more).
But, I am told Arsenal's interest in Locatelli is genuine and there has been contact between the clubs. A move hasn't been ruled out.

Yea I'm reading they are being public about Arsenal being in the lead to get a better offer from Juve.

Agreed. I like the mix so far with lower priced young guys with a lot of potential and some young guys that are proven starters. Hopefully gone are the days of trying to get excited about signing Sokratis Leichsteiner

Gabriel suffered a knee injury training with Brazil and will miss the Olympics. No news on the severity yet, but either way Arsenal could be starting the season off in dire straits at the back once again, because I don't see Saliba returning.

Yep, I'm not getting my hopes up, and already tempering myself for a non-top 4 finish. The board continually lets down Arsenal fans, and currently it doesn't seem like it is changing that much.

I didnt notice any other than people saying the players will get shite for being black.
Arsenal has made a statement about it. But again, i never see these comments and only hear that there were racist comments, it looked like there was a lot of support on his insta last night, not racism.
