Partey will come around.

He was great his first few games, then picked up the injury and never really got back to that level again this season. Hopefully he settles in better next season. And he really needs to work on his shooting. I don’t think he put any shots on target this season.

He would be a great field goal kicker.

Didn't realize we are second in the table since January and sort of lines up to moving out ozil, mustafi and kola plus Pepe starting to play over Willian.

I guess I'm willing to give this a chance for half a season but we've got to go buy better players in the midfield and at rb.

Rb that's @ betis on loan from barca. Brazilian.

Maybe we can fandagle a swap for Bellerin, plus they have dest.

I'm convinced now we'd be higher up the table if Pepe started more games earlier on. Especially when you weren't getting anything from auba and Willian.

7 goals in last 7. He just needed a consistent run out.

I completely agree! The chance to play regularly has set him free and he is creative and very dangerous.

I wish would play this never take the foot of the gas style against top five teams. This is a formidable team when they are allowed to actually play.

Hate missing out on Europe completely but optimistically this will be help up immensely in the league next year. No more traveling throughout Europe on Thursday and then have to play again on Sunday. We can trim the squad, hopefully selling 7-10 players then pay for 3 to 4 quality additions.

should be no excuses for top 4 next year now that they’ll have a lot of free time on their hands during the week, saving themselves from the wear and tear of europa

finished strong but couldn’t overcome that abysmal first half of the season

How much do we think not being in Europe at all will harm their chances in landing transfers? I've got to think lots of players will spurn Arsenal in favor of clubs who are in those competitions.

Thats why we got to swoop in and get some players from teams below us, sheffield, brighton Norwich. Trim some of the fat and be ready to just focus everything on the 38 games.

I think it depends on the player. Some of the players we have been linked with like Buednia and Bissuoma haven’t played in the Champions league so I don’t see it being a deterrent for them. I also think Odegaard would still sign permanently if we could afford his fee.

I’m very curious what they do will Willock. Word is Newcastle are prepared to offer 30+ million

I agree that Arsenal don't need to get enamored with the superstar names. Adding a Grealish would cost their entire chest I'd have to think. Sure the splash buy would get people off the back of Josh Kroenke, but I don't think those types of buys are what is best for the club. The club needs a pretty massive overhaul, need to add a number of new players.

I am not sure with Arteta that Willock fits into the side. Might be better to sell while the value is still high. Same with Laca, don't extend or over pay and get a similar return to Auba where you have an aged striker who has a big decline in production.

Granit Xhaka has chances to leave Arsenal this summer as Willian, Hector Bellerin and many other players. #AFC

AS Roma are interested in signing him and have opened talks with his agents, José Mourinho wants him - also Bundesliga clubs are in the race.
Let the purge begin.

AS Roma are optimistic about signing Granit Xhaka & are making progress in negotiations with Arsenal, who have asked for €25m. AS Roma will work on closing the deal for less & will attempt to find an agreement in personal terms with the player in the meantime. [@angelomangiante]

Yves Bissouma is appreciated and he’s ‘one of the options’ in the Arsenal list as midfielder but NOT the first one. #AFC are also looking at different kind of players in this position.

Many clubs are interested in Bissouma - Liverpool too. The race is open. #AFC #LFC

I am glad. It seems the club is close to getting rid of all the 'rats' who kept leaking info to the media, that group including Ozil who were cancerous to the club.

I know some will disagree but I wouldn’t sell Xhaka for anything less than 25-30 million. I know he wants to be a starter and we will try to bring in an upgrade next to Partey this window, so maybe he knows it’s time to move on.
But we have plenty of other players to sell that don’t contribute much at all or are already out on loan. We should be selling Guendouzi, Torreira, Bellerin, Marvopanos. AMN, Nketiah, Kolasanic, Reiss Nelson, and hopefully Willian/Cedric.

So I had a feeling Xhaka might stay, but I think he personally wants to go. Not that Arteta doesnt want him. That could be a big shakeup and thought hed be a good fit at one of the bigger named italian clubs.

But i guess that could mean we keep willock or would the cheaper option be to extend elneny for a year and sell willock? With that we could buy two cms and still have 4 plus azeez. Assuming guendouzi and torreira go too.

I dont think the right option is to get rid of all our cms other than partey.

Arsenal are working to sell players in the next days. OM are in advanced talks to sign Mattéo Guendouzi who’s coming back from Hertha Berlin loan spell. AS Roma are pushing to complete Granit Xhaka deal soon. Arsenal are open to sell Lucas Torreira too. #AFC #OM @santi_j_fm
