Henry:

quote:

“Being the manager of Arsenal FC would be a dream,” he said. “But I need to learn first. That is the most important thing.

“I just want to be equipped, to be in the position, maybe one day to be a manager.”

And when asked if what would happen if he were offered the job, he said, “I don’t know what Arsene wants to do and how long he wants to stay, but I could not say ‘no’ to Arsenal. So I would say ‘yes’.”

Hopefully Chambers or Gabriel comes in for Per this weekend.

We have Chelsea and Liverpool at home and ManU away as our biggest remaining games. Very good chance to win 2 of those and with some luck we could win all three. Will probably stumble and we lose 2 games of the remaining, but Top 3 is certainly accomplishable if not Top 2.

I missed it, hope it gets replayed. Nervy match. But we grew into the game. Gabriel shaky, but I say keep him in. He gives you so much more especially with bellerin. Who I thought was great. But you can't have per out there with bellerin going forward. Even though ozil had the two assists I still feel disappointed with him. Giroud should have had 3, but he's getting in position to score. Nice showing after one of his worst games. Ospina was excellent. Santi and coquelin put in great defensive performances.

Everton reminds me of watching Arsenal at times. A lot of passing with nothing to show. No determination to win the game. Even though we were sluggish at first, I loved the effort. Top 2 is do able when I thought we were going to struggle to get 4th.

QPR should be a win. I just hope we can beat man u when we actually have a better side to keep us in the defense of the FA Cup.

It was really good. It is a nice way to compare that team to what Arsenal currently is. The difference definitely seems to be mental. That team just had some supremely strong willed guys.

All of them harassing the Man U player after he missed the game winning PK may have been my favorite part.

Crazy to see that those teams seemed to struggle in Europe too though.

Just finished it. Had a feeling that wouldn't have been as enjoyable without knowing the result beforehand.

Gabriel had one near massive mistake, but also had two fantastic tackles. Feels like he will get better as he gets use to the guys around him and starts to learn some English.

Can I just say how Francis Coquelin has quickly become my favorite player? He works his arse off, is completely unselfish, has the ability to drive the ball forward into space when things are tight, allows our playmakers to do the creative work while he gets stuck in. He played through a fricking broken nose and was still battling physically all the while.

Since he's come into the squad, we've looked so much better.

Also, I know he had some uh-oh moments Sunday, but Gabriel obviously makes us much more versatile defensively. He made some excellent tackles. As he gets more comfortable, I think our defense can go to the next level with he and Kosc as speedier options and Per in the side for bigger forwards.

Really want Ramsey to get back in the mix. We've missed his box to box presence.

I think he's still in our best 11 for big games, which probably looks like this:

Ospina
Bellerin-Gabriel-Kosc-Monreal
Coq
Ramsey-Santi
Ozil-Giroud-Alexis

Ox, Theo, Welbeck, Chambers, Gibbs, Sczcesney, Rosicky, etc.

QPR have lost 6 of their last 7 BPL matches, and are winless at Loftus Road in their last 4 (2 draws, 2 losses) while scoring just 1 goal at home.

3 points an absolute MUST today! Hopefully, Newcastle can at least get a draw at home against the Mancs. Come on you Gunners!

Arsenal have only won 1 out 7 matches there. Our form is good(sans Monaco)and their form is atrocious. Three points on the way.

Nice weather today, looking forward to drinking a few and sitting outside at Finn's.
