Re: Jenks, I've heard both that Arsene has considered him as CB cover, but also theyre considering a loan. I read West Ham is interested. He needs to play.

yeah, that could be interesting to watch. by my count we opened up 4 non-HGP slots and had one empty last season for a total of 5 non-HGP openings. debuchy and alexis are two, DM three, GK 4, new CB 5?
does campbell count as home grown? or since he was on loan was he not "registered" with us? if he isn't home grown, no way he makes the cut.
javi manquillo is u21 and thus wouldn't count against our squad limit. might be another rational for pursuing him, though that rumor has died down. would be a good reason to pursue a young, talented CB too.
looking at it, unless we were going for three new, non-HGP signings in those 3 positions i mentioned, fathi for jenks wouldn't lose us a squad place.
