I know the perfect place

Edit: I'll be stuck at work, but with 3 Directv boxes...early indications will be:

Arsenal/BVB
Schalke/Chelski
Celtic/Ajax

I'm on U-Verse and it shows Arsenal-BVB on Fox Soccer Plus (which I don't get). The others are Barca-Milan on FS1, Chelsea-Schalke on FS2, and Celtic-Ajax on Fox Sport South and other regional channels.

Bc they just choose who to put on which channel based solely upon which fixture had the team with the biggest draw in their eyes. So Barca and Chelsea both have bigger American audiences than arsenal in their opinion, and I can only guess they're showing Celtic bc they have a bunch of catholic support idk. But it's frustrating and frankly a little demeaning that they don't think American soccer fandom has evolved to the point where by far the best match of the day would draw more viewers than simply the Barca name

You are going to have to find a bar with satellite.

no kidding. very frustrating. Comcast here in the DC area is showing the Celtic/Ajax game on one of the local sports channels, and of course Comcast doesn't provide Fox Soccer Plus. Can't believe they chose to show that game over the Arsenal/BvB.

I'll have to listen on Arsenal Player. Which is difficult at work, because they get so worked up and animated in their commentary that every pass seems to carry with it the risk of heart attack.

I hope someone else gets CL rights next year. Fox can suck one.

So when Theo is back, does he slide in directly on the right? Does that send Jack, who played one of his better games, to the bench?

I couldn't believe the continuity we had in attack vs. Norwich. It was the best we'd played, I think.

Too much depth doesn't worry me, just curious as to how you all think the lineup will shake out.

I honestly don't know. But, it is great to have the options and quality of depth we have been lacking for so many seasons.

I still think Theo is our starting RW

------Giroud------
Santi---Ozil---Theo
---Arteta-Ramsey---

I mean Jack had a great game against Norwich but Walcott gives the attack a new element.

Theo should start. He'll open things up for us with his speeds and movement.

I would say the 60mins of the match we played well (first and last 30) was some of the best we've played in awhile, but our 30 dull minutes make me hesitant to say it was the best we played. That said, with only 60 goods mins played, we still could've scored a lot more than 4 if not for Ruddy.

Our attack was good but I still feel like we aren't at full power. Ozil has yet to really play like his price tag should indicate. Just watch this video. LINK

He has yet to do any of that for us. He's the perfect player for our system because he moves from central positions to wide positions, and our wide players always want to be central, which opens up all sorts of possible combinations, but we don't really seek him out to dictate play. Right now his game is about existing on the peripheries, which is an odd thing for a player of his caliber.

Defensively, we make a conscious choice about when to press and when not to, but Norwich dominated possession either side of half time, and I was unsure if we were letting them or if we couldn't win the ball back. Ozil's first goal was magnificent counter attacking play, but we won't always have the luxury to be a goal ahead.

What if when Theo comes back on the right Santi moved back to the center and Ozil went out wide left? Santi is very good in the center, and really wants to be in the middle of the park anyway, while Ozil has been found out wide on either side a good bit so far.
