Ramsey's is definitely more blue collar and no nonsense I think. I don't think he really goes 1v1 all that often.

When he does though he usually gets the better of the opponent. Very deft in his use of feints.

He really has stepped it up since break last winter. He is one of our most consistent players for sure. Once Theo gets on board we are a tough out for any team.

I've always fancied Weidenfeller as a serious but daring Luftwaffe fighter pilot, or possibly, due to height limitations, as an expert flight lieutenant donning a bomber jacket while leading a bomber group in the Battle of Britain to mercilessly drop his payload over the city of London below.

Agreed. 6 points from the two matches with them is going to be very important. We HAVE to atleast get 4 from them in the 2 matches. I think we win on Wednesday. Would be great if Dortmund/Napoli draw. Already scheduled vacation for Wednesday.

I got lucky this week. My assistant's daughter has volleyball games on Tuesday and Thursday. So I'm going to Finn's.

Catching up.

Ramsey was brilliant Saturday, and you could take away both goals and still say that.

81/86 passes, match-high in tackles.

He's really grown into that central midfield role.

I liked Jack and Mesut in the attack. Ozil was obviously brilliant, and Theo will start finishing those.

Can't say enough about Giroud's early play too. Whether receiving a pass or taking a first time shot, his first touch has been superb all year, on the ground and in the air.

I agree with all of that. Just a really fun team to pull for.

I'm loving the way we are playing.

Yeah, Giroud impressed me too. The layoff on Ramsey's first goal was brilliant.

Some StatZone info

Flamini hit on 89% of his passes and had seven ball recoveries (most on the team). He was servicable, which is all he needs to be right now.

Arsene says Giroud will have a scan and may not play tomorrow...

Ramsey, obviously.

Just kidding.

Maybe Ryo gets a look?

Or Gnabry. I'd be happy with either one getting some time.

Wednesday can't get here fast enough.

I think they'd go with Gnabry. Another German on the pitch who can communicate well with ozil, not to mention he has a bit more first team experience than Ryo and has been tearing it up for u-21's fit club and country
