I agree with everything you said. I was going to say everyone looked phenomenal except Szczesney who played like shite. Also Walcott played shitty balls but he had a composed goal and we had a fairly limited sample size with him anyway.

Cazorla looks incredible right now. He's going to be huge this year.

ETA: Also pretty cool that we have surrendered only 1 goal in 4 games. Pretty indicative of our defense. They'll have a real test next Sunday though.

Szcznesy has to get his head together. His clearances were awful as well.

Yea because the shite he pulled today will cost us points against the bigger teams in the EPL. We looked like we did offensively a couple years ago but with defensive stability to back up our attack.

I'm hoping that him getting a goal will make him less desperate to score one and be a little more un-selfish with his passing..

So fox soccer plus for the replay? Don't think I have that station. Any clue what # that is for Cox NOLA?

My guide is also showing some replays on the YES network: 8 PM ET Monday and 9:30 AM ET Tuesday.

Yea if you happen to get the YES network you can also catch the weekly shows Arsenal World and Arsenal 360. They run a week late but a worth the watch.

His clearances has always been his weakest part, and it seems like nothing much has been done about it (coaching staff and himself to blame).

I didn't catch the game today to see the goal that was scored against us, but he has become one of the best shot saving keepers in the world, which is far more important than his poor clearances. People give him grief about how many goals were scored on him last season, but arsenals defense was BAD a majority of the season

yeah if you watched the game you'd understand. Every single time his foot touched the ball it went to the opposing team, and the cross should have been an easy grab but got mishandled and fell to their striker.

Just watched the highlights. Livid with Szczesny. As bad as any Lehmann, Almunia, or Flaapyanski gaffe. What a shitty way to lose our clean sheet streak. He needs competition. Seems to have regressed over the past year.

Eh... I'm positive... but this was Southampton at home. That said, we made them look much worse than they did against the Manchesters.

Jesus. Overreact much? He makes gaffs like this but he is still young and still improving. To say he is regressing is just silly.

Did anyone notice the Nazi salute/shoulder brushoff after Gervinho's first goal? Just like RVPs vs Chelsea.

Also, after the Southampton goal, they showed Vito on the bench and he looked pissed.

I don't see how it's an overreaction. At the very least, he hasn't improved any. Distribution as bad or worse than ever. goat of Poland's euros. Looked unconvincing in the preseason. Looked unconvincing in two games this season.

He is a 22 year old keep. Give him a break. And its not like the guys we have behind him are all that great.

Yeah, that's my point. Last year around the middle of the season, I'd have vehemently argued he was a top 5 EPL GK. Can't make that argument now. He could use some competition to spur him, because he hasn't shown any signs of improvement lately. He's got the talent of a De Gea or a Hart IMO, but those two have improved drastically over the past year.

So I don't know about anyone else, but I was a little worried about Poldi after watching him all Euro's... SO GLAD it looks like I was wrong.
