Should also point out he excelled at LB on Real's USA tour. Or at least that's what I read. Could be an emergency fix there.

Too good to be true. Neighbourhood threat: AVB wants Arsenal to lend him misfit striker Chamakh AVB wants Chamakh. He must be mad. I never seen a player go missing during games as much as Chamakh. Arsenal giving him to Spuds not only gets him off the wage bill but it also weakens them by giving them a striker that refuses to shoot.

Remains to be seen. Still might buy a true DM. But yeah, Arteta will still likely continue to be our least advanced CM.

Arteta was found playing behind Diaby last match, so he's probably last midfielder.
I wouldn't mind Arsenal playing 2 strikers and having Walcott up there. Put Poldi out wide left, and Ox/Gervinho on the other wing. I know it's early and I should wait on the chemistry, and such, but I am just not a fan of Poldi up top. Especially by himself.

Reports are the Sahin trained with Arsenal today and also had a photo shoot for the club. The deal should be announced pretty soon.
