Arsene the Shrewd delivers. I'll be interested to see what he does with the money.

Who, realistically, do we buy with this money now?

I think it will go towards what we have already spent to be honest.

Some young, talented player we will turn into a freaking beast that will only leave us in the end
Ya know the usual.
Where is the damn loyalty?!

Money will be used for what we already spent.

He's also an AM right?
I'm thinking they'll pull in another striker (possible Llorente if the rumors are true) and a defensive mid.

Anger towards RVP & ManU with your heart.
dancing bananas (yes it's an emotion) for getting that much money for a 29 year old injury prone striker with your brain.

What are the odd's RVP stays injury free next year? Arsene is a champ for this deal

Just saw this on Twitter:
Barcelona left Arsenal on August 15, 2011. RVP leaves Arsenal on August 15, 2012.

I hope we don't sell song and then not get anyone else before the season starts. That would be a brutal end to what was shaping up to be a great transfer window

False. That money came from a real estate sale.
Arsene bought RvP, a troubled youth player with a bad rep, for £2.75mil. Another great but of business. Despite all the injuries, he gave us some great moments, not the least of which being my favorite goal of all time, his volley vs Charlton. Thanks for the memories RvP, but i hope you understand i wish you nothing but the worst now.

RT @piersmorgan No pressure @Persie_Official - but if you leave Arsenal then I will throw myself off pier in lead weights.
Bye, Piers.

Wenger just said we're not replacing Van Persie with another striker. Didn't say we wouldn't go after some non-strikers, but it sounded like he wasn't planning on spending the money this window

Jeff Sherman ?@golfodds
Man Utd down to 2/1 and Arsenal out to 25/1 for Premier League title after Van Persie's move ... now I know how a Magic fan feels
