That should be enough to control the midfield against Blackburn.

Miquel + Per would be the most unathletic CB pairing we've played in awhile. I'd be scared of that. I'll guess

Szcz
Sagna-Per-TV5-Nacho
Arteta-Diaby
Cazorla
Ox-Gervinho-Poldi

Just because Wenger hasn't shown much proclivity to rotate Santi. Decent chance Rosicky takes Cazorla's spot though.

Completely forgot about Rosicky, he's available again?

Santi rested against stoke right? I don't know if that shows that he is willing to rest him or if he'll think that's enough. Also I think he likes Ramsey enough to give him this CAM role (where he does best)

Also you're right he might force TV5 back purely because of the miquel mert pairing.

Rosicky is available.

Santi was rested against Stoke. Jack surely won't start tomorrow. Kinda difficult to envision him benching Santi if Jack isn't there to play the no 10 role.

Ramsey's best role this year, and probably will continue to be going forward, has been DLP.

Wtf
I have been following the gooners since 97. Something has to change.

I don't give a shot that Wenger groomed guys like Henry, this is fricking pathetic.

I had to squint on my phone to realize who that was. Could've picked a better pic dandy!

I wouldn't believe anything about Arsenal in the papers right now. It's all spin from the Blackburn loss. I do think we'll spend big though in the summer and GK is certainly a position where we could improve. Not sure any Gunner is attached to Szczesny.

Saw the 3-1 scoreline, but it appeared to be a muxh closer game statistically. Howd we look?

Bayern was better, but the game could've very easily ended tied with a little luck. Biggest difference is quality in the final thirds, their defense clamped down any time we got near the box whereas anytime they had numbers going forward they seemed to get a decent opportunity. Arsenal desperately lack that forward who can make something out of nothing, like Drogba was for Chelsea last year

ETA: Also not having a real left back killed us. Not like they were sending in through balls and getting break aways or running rampant in the box. Vermaelen just couldn't guard that right touchline to save his life

We were definitely inferior for all but the opening 5 minutes and for a 10 minute stretch in the second half. They didn't really have a whole lot of chances but were brutally clinical. We scored off a corner that shouldn't have been and only really had 1, maybe 2, decent scoring opportunities all match.

My grade of the players' performances: Jack - Great, Per - terrible, TV5- bad, Poldi - bad, Ramsey - not good, everyone else - meh

Clearly, we HAVE to make 4th. I'm not sure how much all of this is to blame on Wenger, but I get the feeling even if he doesn't get canned, he won't stay longer than his current contract. Probably have a similar situation to Bayern next year where we know it's Arsene's last and have a successor ready to step in.

I agree with this, but my point is inferior teams in soccer games get results all the time and Arsenal hasn't managed to that once all year. Perfect example, Chelsea was inferior from the quarterfinals on in last years champions league but somehow managed to squeak out just enough to get the result they needed everytime

Chelsea were only inferior statistically speaking. Their opposition was woefully wasteful, while Chelsea were perfectly clinical.

Yeah, Chelsea showed a lot more defensive organization and concentration and were also far more clinical. A draw was possible considering how things went (hell, if Giroud buries that chance we might've nicked a win) but I'm not going to act like we did enough from either an offensive or defensive standpoint to merit a draw.
