Ramsey's development can go one of two ways. He can either become like Song or Denilson. It all depends on his mental fortitude.

I'm still wondering when we will stop insisting on playing the ball to the wing for a whipped in cross even when we are already near the opponents box going toward goal. We keep limiting ourselves and slow down play passing out wide to Gervinho and Ramsey even if our Center Mids are already near the top of the box going forward vertically.

Gervinho does nothing for us out wide. We need to play him up top so that he can run past defenders with his speed. Running at people he's ok, but he really hasn't shown much there, and he loses the ball all too frequently.

These past few matches have shown how important Gibbs is to us both in attack and defense. He can't come back soon enough. We need the width he provides with his overlapping runs. Santos tends to not get as wide when he goes forward. He and Poldi don't seem to have much of a connection. I also think it's highly likely Sagna or Jenkinson will start at LB versus ManU if Gibbs isn't back.

Yes they have.

If Gibbs isn't fit and Wenger throws Santos out there it will be a very long day for Arsenal. Valencia will destroy Santos.

Ramsey is painfully average and whoscored's metric is very arbitrary from what I've found.

Lets put it this way, santos is on who scored's team of the week for the epl

but every once in a while, if he doesn't lose the ball and/or disrupt the rhythm of the play, there's a chance he creates an opportunity for a score... just like last Saturday. But odds are, he plays around with the ball and give the defense time to get set and then loses it.

accurate description of his play but the meta-analysis of every reaction piece by an Englishman or English outlet is JACK WILSHERE, ENGLISH MESSIAH? so I worry it's going to rise back up to the point where his psyche is burdened with expectations of being some Beckham figure in the same way Theo was projected unfairly in his late teens.

Walcott pulls one back.

We're going to reverse Newcastle this game.
