Brits take it on the chin AGAIN @ Wembley, this time by their arch rivals..."Die Mannschaft". For all the crowing about being the motherland of soccer....not much has been accomplished since 1966..lol
Will they be able to advance out of group stages in Brazil ?

Depends entirely on the group they get.

I fully realized today for the first time the derth of technical ability in the ENT. Everyone playing for Germany was two-footed, while maybe two from England are.

Also, their attack is pathetic and they have a bombscare in goals.

The game was poor, but aside from the 3 chance 3 minutes where heart made 2 good saves and then we conceded, I never felt like Germany was particularly dominating.

Having said that attacking we were poor, even with Townsend hitting the post everything was outside the box (in 2nd half there was 3 or 4 chances for shots that werent taken)

Although I was behind a goal so probably saw things differently to how it looked on tv.

Also did Draxler come on at RB?!? or did i get numbers mixed up

Yep, for the first time ever, I was watching England play and thought to myself "damn, the US has better technical skill players than them."

Chris Smalling might as well only have one leg...its actually embarrassing, and one of the reasons I couldn't believe United paid so much.

Yeah Germany was playing a lot of fringe guys too. Weren't some members of the English media complaining that Germany wasn't taking the friendly seriously enough?
