Great composure from Silva there, class!

About time. Spain has been dominating.

Something about this match, both goals conceded the 3rd minute of a half

Against better sides like a Germany or even a disciplined English team, Spain are going to need Pedro or Jesus Navas to keep defenders from ignoring defending the wings.

Great save by Given there.

Holy moly, 2 crucial blocks from Ireland on sure fire goals.
Defender got down to block a shot, then Given had an amazing save to stop Xavi.

There's another one for Torres.
Has Spain totally dominated Ireland or what?

Makes me believe Italy makes it through over Croatia after they beat up on Ireland.

He needs a good EUROs for confidence heading back to Stamford Bridge. I didn't expect that much out of him either. Guess it helps when you have one of the greatest players of our generation around him to feed him the ball. Definitely doesn't have that kind of help at Chelsea.

Does anyone else have a ridiculously unwatchable feed from ESPN2?

Given has definitely made up for the 1st match and his blunders. He's had about 4 really good saves today.
But unfortunately Spain are just dominating and you wouldn't know it by the 4-0 scoreline.
Look at Cesc, the striker. Doing better than RVP

It must be nice to have the ability to just casually bring Fabregas off the bench for a nice 25 minute kickabout.
