I think you have to question Morris's stamina as well.

He has already equaled the number of goals Clint and Landon scored in their rookie seasons.

He still looks a bit heavy set with some baby fat.
A proper S&C program for a few years will do him wonders.

Ok? Dempsey was older. I think he's doing fine for a player in his first pro season playing for some dog shite team.

dog shite team.
Which is pathetic for the money they spend.

I'm really just trying to say that outside of maybe Wood, no one has done enough to earn a spot in the line up over Jozy.

People seem to forget that Morris is 21 and was playing college soccer a few months ago.

How so by kicking the ball 8 yards in front of him with his awful first touch?
Well no, SCH, that's not how I envisioned him helping the team. Zardes work rate is fantastic, offensively and defensively. I said his style of play might be better suited to the way the US plays, especially against teams that possess the ball and have better players than we do. Which happens way more often than not in most games that aren't WCQ's or Gold Cup matches.

Jozy in all aspect of the game is a better player. Bigger, stronger, more explosive, better finishing, better pashing and way more technical than Zardes will ever be.
All true. Except maybe the explosive part. It's been so long since I watched Jozy consistently tbh, but I don't ever remember him having the quickest first step. His full sprint speed is fine, but he's not that quick. Jozy is a better striker than Zardes, no doubt. But how many times have we seen Jozy rendered basically useless up top because of a lack of possession and service? He's not good enough to get away with not working hard.

Whenever that's happened it's because the defense and midfield had trouble with possession and passing the ball. If you can't get the ball past midfield, Jozy isn't going to help too much because it's not his job to drop back into our defensive third.
But defenses also key onto him more when he's on the field, which opens space for others. That's why Jozy is a huge asset when he has a second forward paired with him.

Altidore entered in the second half for the third straight match last night and scored another goal.
