I strongly disagree.

GAM should have been Jozy's replacement in my book.

I think you have GAM and Boyd mixed up.

Since he'll be 34 in 2018 and unlikely to ever get another call up, I expect him to say he's retiring from the national team.

That's the most Eddie Johnson thing I've ever heard Eddie Johnson say. Pretty impressive, really.

Don't go acting like GAM is any better than Wondo. I also believe our forward group will be much better than it is right now.

Johannsson, Altidore, Boyd, Agudelo, Bobby Wood

We need them to start stepping up.

Hard to step up when Jurgy won't use him. There is no way to rationalise Wondo in the 23 over Boyd.

I really hope that playing one striker was just a quick fix for this world cup and Jurgen doesn't plan on playing that tactic his entire tenure.
It takes a very special striker to succeed in that formation, and I want to see those guys be given a chance to succeed. Unlike what happened to Altidore at Sunderland for most of the year.

Lets just end talking about Wondo.

The career MLS journeymen blew it when it mattered and was ghost out there before that.

There's no guarantee he would be in the same position.

I be that he would have drilled it into the keeper's knee.

Yet you're acting like Wondo is better than GAM for some reason

Both are well below our top forward options. There. Let's stop the nonsense arguing.

I'd say GAM played much better than Wondo at the international level.

Not really. I don't think either is any good.
