United give them at least a a chance thats the point.

United were forced into it. They certainly didn't give Welbeck a chance, preferring to overpay significantly for a broken Falcao. It's literally the same thing City would have done if they were put in the same situation.

By this point City should have some youth players getting first team action. The last one to get real time was Richards who was a youth product before the take over.

I agree and I've criticized City about this point repeatedly. They've also done poorly selling good players. They basically gave away De Jong even though he could do a job from the bench even now, and Tevez was given away even though he's remained super productive and would go a long way to help City with their striker issues. And then losing players like Boateng the next year because they were playing Lescott over him forcing Boateng to right back is another issue. Not to mention overpaying for players like Adebayor, Jo, Kolo Toure and others.

Basically they haven't had a cogent transfer strategy and that's why they are in the position they are in.

Never. Pogba looks like he's going to be one of the best midfielders ever, and the one game where he begged for a chance, Ferguson played Park and Rafael in midfield over him. For what reason, I don't know, since neither Park nor Rafael are midfielders.

I'm holding out hope that Pogba will be willing to come back if LvG offers heaven and earth to get him. The latest rumors are a ton of money plus RvP and maybe another player.

Yes, but was shunted aside when you guys paid 20 mil for a broken Falcao. Welbeck would have been a way better option for the league. It's not a poor example because you guys chose the foreign player over a local talent. And you chose the loan as well. City in the exact same situation would have done the exact same thing. Stop pretending Man U is above the shite.

Pogba won't go for less than fifty mil I think. City want him to and are going to apparently offer Nasri and Dzeko? This silly season is going to be as silly as shite. I can't wait. With Raiola as his agent, I think Pogba either goes to Real or goes to a EPL club and then goes to Real after a couple of seasons. No way does Raiola not pimp him out.

I see rumors of United offering 47 and RVP.

It's going to be another summer spree for them no matter what. Now they can (hopefully) use the Top 4 money as reasoning.

Looking at a third straight season of breaking the 100+ euro mark.

pretty much all United fans were pissed we sold Welbz and picked up Falcao.

It didn't work and pretty much went against the club philosophy.

LvG fricked up and its pretty obvious he is aware of that.

But he is still a big big proponent of youth players.

United have only gone over 100+ pounds once which was last year

67 million is less than 100+ euro unless you want to use current exchange rates

Generally, but he tossed Welbeck aside like a used tampon. If I was a United fan, I would have screamed "Where's Welbeck String!?" like Deangleo did at the end of Season one of The Wire.

Of course you don't.

That would be a really neat point to make — if I was talking about pounds.

Get off your currency high horse. The data I was using referred to what the rate was when the transfers were made.

Really thought Neagle was going to give the Sounders the lead there.
