MLS started with 10 teams in ‘96. Lost 2 teams(Tampa Mutiny and Miami fusion. TYFYS Valderrama) And is now up to 29 teams.
So 19 expansion teams

St Louis has always loved soccer. It just took a little while to get the MLS in town. The league will never have to worry about support for this club.

Never been a big MLS guy. PL will always be my #1 but want to get into following another league. I was stationed in DC for a year so it is the only city that I have a true connection with. I’m also a Capitals fan and use to be a Redskins fan until the name change. I know the DC sports fan misery so I should fit right in being a United fan
