I feel like we’ve been getting mixed signals about what kind of roster to expect. I would love to see guys like booth, Tessmann, Vasquez, Pomykal etc get a runout

As he should be. My man needs reps.
Looking back at that last gold cup roster makes it even more impressive that we won the thing. Of the 23 man roster, only Turner and Zimmerman ended up being a major contributor for the WC. Roldan, Acosta, Johnson, and Moore were on that roster and everyone else has barely done shite for the full team on even a semi regular basis.

Stealing from the us soccer reddit because it outlines a lot of the players people might have expected that aren't on the roster:
"I see a lot of discourse online about the roster, and while there are a few things I would have done differently, the following players who are not part of the NL are injured; Both Tillmans, Horvath, Steffen,Ream, CCV, Adams, Sargent, McKenzie, Arriola, and you have Acosta and Pomykal in and out of their lineups recently with injuries as well. You also have guys like Haji and Booth looking like they may be getting moves too along with the A team guys who are looking at transfers."
Also, Tessman is getting married during the tournament, so he is missing it for that reason.

I just want to say this upfront since there will at least be one game in the tournament where they are the starting CB and I'll melt.
